Responsibilities

Your mission will be to become a key player in building Zippi's legal operation, starting with three central fronts — litigation, contracts and consultative support for internal areas — and gaining progressive autonomy over them.

On a day-to-day basis, you will monitor a portfolio of civil and consumer lawsuits in partnership with our external office — including monitoring cases with bodies such as PROCON and —, conduct less complex commercial contracts from start to finish and support teams such as Product, Operations and People in resolving recurring legal queries.

More than executing these routines, we hope you will help make them increasingly organized, efficient and scalable: structuring controls, tracking metrics, identifying gaps and proposing improvements to the processes in operation — including the use of AI and automation to reduce manual work and gain scale.

As it gains control and autonomy on these fronts, there is room to expand its operations to topics such as labor, compliance, privacy and automation projects, building a generalist legal vision of a growing fintech and progressively assuming new responsibilities within the team.

Requirements

What we look for

• Active OAB (or final stage of obtaining it, e.g.: approved in the exam and waiting for the number to be issued).
• Base in civil litigation: experience preparing subsidies/parts, monitoring procedural deadlines and organizing documentation, ideally with responsibility for a portfolio, however small.
• Experience in reviewing contracts: provision of services, NDAs, amendments or suppliers.
• Operational autonomy: proactively resolves and signals when crashes occur, without relying on step-by-step instructions — including identifying and pointing out gaps or inconsistencies on your own.
• Good execution ability: understands and is interested in a largely practical scope.
• Curiosity and initiative to use AI and automation to improve legal flows and routines, seeking to reduce manual work and make processes more efficient and scalable.
• Familiarity with legal tools (Elaw, DocuSign/ZapSign, Notion) or ease of adapting to them

It will be a plus if you have

• Exposure to labor/People (CLT/PJ contracts, terminations, internal policies);
• Familiarity with compliance, KYC/AML or LGPD topics.
• Previous context in a regulated company (fintech, credit, payment methods);
• Experience in internal consultancy for business areas (Product, Operations, Commercial, People);
• Bacen/CVM/FIDC Regulatory

About the Company
