Role Summary

As a Scrum Master, with experience in agile software development, you will take responsibility for one or two teams in a scaled environment according to SAFe.

You work hands-on with your teams, accompany them in everyday life, moderate agile events and promote self-organization, technical excellence and flow.

The systematic further development of the team is also part of your area of responsibility - towards psychological safety, team maturity and assumption of responsibility.

Targeted contribution of your experience to drive improvement at individual, team and ART levels.

You promote the continuous improvement process (CIP) and use suitable metrics to reflect team performance and value stream.

Supporting the product owners in the further development of product vision, backlog maintenance and stakeholder communication.

Close collaboration with other Scrum Masters, the RTE, system architects and managers to anchor agile principles.

You actively participate in the agile coaching network, provide impulses, promote cross-departmental topics and accompany change.

You will work in our Agile Release Train Data, Analysis & AI, which is active at the Hamburg and Wiesbaden locations. In order to optimally support collaboration within the team and with stakeholders, we expect regular willingness to travel between both locations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or team coach in software development teams, ideally also in a scaled environment (e.g. SAFe).
  • You are familiar with agile software projects and understand how development processes, build and deployment pipelines and DevSecOps/BizDevSecOps structures are connected.
  • You have already supported and developed agile teams - in different situations, with different levels of maturity and challenges.
  • Enjoy helping to shape structures, driving change and supporting people in their development - with a clear focus on good collaboration.
  • For you, agility is more than a process - you live it as an attitude and pass it on with clarity, enthusiasm and consistency.
  • Binding and clear communication, you provide orientation and tackle difficult topics openly and constructively if it helps the team.
  • You have in-depth experience with SAFe, Scrum and Kanban and have actively helped shape scaled work in larger organizations.
  • You communicate confidently – in German (at least B2-C1 level) as well as in English, in writing and orally.
  • You use tools like JIRA, Confluence and Conceptboard safely and purposefully - to promote transparency and collaboration.
