Project Manager (Senior Health and Safety Coordinator) (T1D)

Role Summary

This is a remote position.

TEHORA is currently looking for a project manager (Senior Health and Safety Coordinator) with excellent technical skills, excellent knowledge and who wishes to use their skills within a versatile team.

Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate must provide.

Description of work or deliverables

• Establish budgets and deadlines relating to the project management and OHS contract;
• Structuring activities relating to OHS management;
• Ensure management and application with all stakeholders on the contract site;
• Advise entrepreneurs on prevention and OHS;
• Organize inspections of the CoSS and APs of the project manager’s representative, and ensure follow-up;
• Lead and/or participate in site committee meetings;
• Enforce decisions taken during site committee meetings;
• Organize welcome sessions for contractors, workers and independent transporters to introduce them to the PCPMO and the organization of OHS on the contract site;
• Ensure that all contractors and employers provide their specific prevention program in accordance with the PCPMO, and monitor it;
• Organize, if necessary, training sessions on relevant subjects;
• Implement means to achieve uniformity in the interventions of CoSS and PAs, and in the actions of contractors for the entire contract site;
• Anticipate and prevent risky situations;

Intervene on the job, take the necessary measures to correct risky situations, implement control mechanisms when a risky situation is identified to ensure the permanence of corrective measures, and avoid the repetition of such a situation;

• Participate in investigations during accidents, incidents or near-accidents;
• Prepare and interpret statistics relating to accidents, incidents and near-accidents;
• Maintain a file for each contractor on the contract site;
• Inform the supervisor and the RSMO of any decision that would have a financial impact for the Department;
• Recommend improvements to the PCPMO or “Devis 104 Health and Safety”;
• Apply the administrative measures mechanism described in the PCPMO;
• Collaborate and support the CGMO upon request of the latter;
• Ensure that the OHS knowledge of CoSS and PAs is regularly updated;

Accomplish any other task deemed necessary as part of his work as representative of the project manager and CPSS, including those listed in the PCPMO.

Requirements

hold an undergraduate university degree in a relevant discipline and have at least 5 years of experience in OHS on construction sites and road infrastructure work.

WORKPLACE

The place of work will be determined according to the mandate, it can be teleworking or at the client's site.
