Role Summary

This is a remote position.

TEHORA is currently looking for a Project Engineer - Civil Engineering with excellent technical skills, excellent knowledge and who wishes to use their skills within a versatile team.

Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate must provide.

Responsibilities

Description of work or deliverables

  • Determine customer needs and estimate the costs of carrying out civil infrastructure projects;
  • Obtain project inputs (existing plans, regulations, surveys, studies);
  • Design waterworks, sewer and road networks;
  • Perform hydraulic calculations;
  • Coordinate the implementation of urban technical network (RTU) work;
  • Produce and interpret plans and quotes;
  • Estimate project quantities and costs;
  • Prepare applications for municipal permits and ministerial authorization;
  • Plan and control civil engineering works;

Ensure compliance of construction work.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (a master's degree is an asset);
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
  • Experience in consulting engineering;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of specialization in infrastructure (sewers, aqueduct, RTU) and roads;
  • Knowledge of optimal stormwater management practices;
  • Knowledge of drainage network modeling (SWMM) and water distribution (EPANET) software;
  • Be familiar with the standards and regulations concerning aqueduct, sanitary and storm sewer networks;
  • Be available for travel to project sites;
  • Have skills for teamwork;
  • Be comfortable in a hybrid teleworking context;
