Microbiology laboratory technician

Role Summary

You will join a team to carry out the analysis of food samples, according to established rules and in compliance with good laboratory practices. In this context, your missions will be as follows:

• Sample receipt and coding
• Weigh the samples and prepare the stock solution;
• Dilute in cascade for seeding boxes on the surface and depth;
• Distribute the media and incubations;
• Subculture on selective media;
• Read and count colonies;
• Confirmations and identifications;
• Organize and store samples according to their handling;

Respect specific service deadlines.

A training plan will be planned in order to have complete versatility and in-depth knowledge of the service.

Requirements

• Initial training: BAC+2 or BTS in laboratory science, bioanalysis or equivalent experience.
• You demonstrate great rigor on a daily basis, your adaptability allows you to quickly master new IT tools as well as a new working environment. Detail and patience will be essential qualities to succeed in this position. You are sociable by nature and you enjoy working in a team.
