Role Summary

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager of the Radioactivity division, you will strengthen a team of around ten employees and participate in the daily life of the laboratory.

Responsibilities

You will carry out the following missions

  • You prepare the samples (grinding, mineralization, geometry, etc.),
  • You carry out analyzes by implementing radiochemical separation techniques (Eichrom resins), and nuclear measurements according to internal operating modes (gamma and alpha spectrometry, proportional gas and liquid scintillation counter, etc.),
  • You use nuclear measurements (spectra, raw data, etc.),
  • You check and validate results and edit test reports,
  • You participate in method development,
  • You ensure the monitoring of measuring equipment (calibration, verification) and the maintenance of equipment files,

You participate in the life of the laboratory and its proper functioning, while respecting the system and the quality base, and respecting hygiene and safety instructions.

Requirements

  • You ideally have a BAC+2 background in Chemistry.
  • You have ideally acquired knowledge of analytical and nuclear measurement techniques, as well as separation-radiochemistry techniques.
  • You have ideally had significant first experience in a laboratory (CDD/CDI).
  • Autonomous and rigorous in nature, you have good interpersonal skills, the ability to adapt, take initiative and you appreciate teamwork.
