Microbiology Laboratory Technician – agri-food sample analysis service

Role Summary

As part of a team of 50 people, your role will be to support our continued growth. We are recruiting for Eurofins Laboratoires Microbiologie Ouest:

A laboratory technician

The sample analysis service corresponds to the start of all microbiological analyzes in our laboratory. The laboratory technicians of the analysis service will occupy the following different positions corresponding to the microbiological analytical process:

1. Collection of a precise mass of the sample received from our client in compliance with laboratory hygiene measures
2. Putting the sample taken into stock solution (EPT, EPT Tween, Fraser, etc.) and grinding using stomachers
3. Successive dilutions and inoculation of Petri dishes
4. Pouring of culture media according to the analysis methods to be carried out.

The technician will be trained and supervised in each position in order to have complete versatility and in-depth knowledge of the service. Support is provided by our managers and senior technicians.

Requirements

• Training: Holder of a BAC STL to Bac+2/3 level diploma
• You have already worked in the following fields: professional experience in catering or the food industry
