laboratory technician

Role Summary

Our production laboratory specializing in asbestos analysis is looking for a Laboratory Technician. The position is based at Domaine de la Vallée Verte 13011 MARSEILLE.

Under the responsibility of the Production Manager, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for carrying out and monitoring the analysis of samples.

Responsibilities

• Receipt/coding of samples
• Sample preparation (thermal and chemical treatment)
• Analysis of samples using the different microscopy methods offered by the laboratory (MOLP and TEM)
• Validation of results
• Ensure that stocks are maintained
• Perform first-level maintenance actions on devices
• Traceability of results under the LIMS production tool
• Know the quality system and apply good laboratory practices

Requirements

• Ideally bac+2 and/or with a first successful experience in a laboratory/production environment
• You possess the following qualities: rigor, good organization, critical thinking, autonomy, ability to adapt, team spirit and versatility.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while respecting quality standards
