Role Summary

Within human-sized teams, you carry out sampling and then analyzes in GC/FID, GC/MS and UHPLC/DAD, ICP on different matrices, after training and in accordance with our internal protocols.

  • Under the responsibility of the department head, you
  • Check and prioritize the analyzes to be performed, in order to release the results on time;
  • Carry out analyzes using accredited methods;
  • Ensure follow-up of problem cases and non-standard results with the service manager;
  • Enter data and results into LIMS;
  • Perform equipment maintenance according to established procedures;
  • Perform various maintenance tasks in the laboratory (e.g. work areas)
  • Participate in maintaining ISO 17025 standards;
  • Comply with quality assurance standards;
  • Are able to complete certain tasks of the pre-analytical process:
  • Creation of computer requests;
  • Receipt of laboratory samples;
  • Adequate identification of samples intended for the laboratory;

Perform any other related task related to the position.

Requirements

  • With a Bac+2 or +3 education, you ideally have experience in analytical chemistry and master the handling of laboratory equipment. You are rigorous, motivated and you know how to get involved, you have team spirit and you are autonomous.
  • You are a trustworthy person and you know how to respect absolute confidentiality.
  • You know how to integrate easily into a team.
  • Laboratory experience would be a plus. Hepatitis B vaccination required.
  • You are comfortable with office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook, and you enjoy working in a team.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 17025 standard would be a plus.
  • Finally, you want to invest in a demanding and caring environment where you can quickly measure the impact of your actions.
