Role Summary

This is a remote position.

TEHORA is currently looking for an exam invigilator with excellent technical skills, excellent knowledge and who wishes to use their skills within a versatile team.

Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate must provide.

Description of work or deliverables

  • Make sure you have all the necessary materials for the exam session to be provided by the Commission;
  • Prepare the room as well as the equipment necessary for the exam session (documents, pencils, calculators, etc.);
  • Start the laptops, connect them to the candidates' account and connect them to ensure charging;
  • Welcome candidates to the exam session and accompany them according to the protocol established by the Commission;

Carry out the necessary checks provided for in the guidelines relating to qualifying exams and communicate to candidates the instructions to follow during the session;

  • Distribute and collect the documents provided to candidates during the session;
  • Keep all Commission documents in its possession in a secure place inaccessible to unauthorized persons;
  • Assist any candidate with a problem during the exam session and, if necessary, report the problem to the person designated by the Commission;

Report, as part of the surveillance report, any offense committed by a candidate during an exam (plagiarism, falsification of documents or any other dishonest process) to the competent authority to intervene;

  • Disinfect spaces and equipment used at the end of the exam session;
  • Arrange the equipment in the spaces provided for this purpose to ensure its protection;
  • Carry out all other activities related to the provision of Services

Requirements

  • Hold a secondary school diploma (DES) or a certificate of relevant studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority;
  • Not be members or representatives of a union or employer association in the construction industry;
  • Not hold a certificate of competence, issued by the Commission, active or expired for less than five (5) years;
  • Be autonomous and have customer service skills;
  • Have a good command of French
  • Have, only for the Sites to be identified by the Commission, a good command of English; and

Be able to use information systems (computer).

WORKPLACE

The place of work will be determined according to the mandate, it can be teleworking or at the client's site.
