- Your task
Strategy & Architecture: Development, coordination and implementation of comprehensive test strategies, test plans and quality standards.
Definition & Objectives: Joint definition of test objectives, test levels and test methods in close coordination with the software teams.
Test coordination: Control, coordination and tracking of all test activities within the ERP system landscape and its interfaces.
Automation: Conception, development and continuous expansion of test automation as a central part of our quality assurance - including selection of suitable tools and frameworks.
Process optimization: Continuous optimization of test processes to increase efficiency and quality assurance.
Test environments: Conception, provision and maintenance of suitable test environments and test data to ensure realistic test conditions.
Support & coordination: Technical coordination and support of the test teams and key users in the creation and execution of manual and automated test cases.
User involvement: Coordinating and requesting tests with end users and key users.
Defect management: Monitoring defect management as well as analyzing, prioritizing and tracking system errors in close collaboration with developers and specialist departments.
Reporting: Regular reporting of test progress, test coverage and quality status to project management and relevant stakeholders.
Documentation: Audit-compliant documentation of all test activities and test results to ensure traceability for internal and external audits.
Requirements
That describes you
- Basic qualification: Successfully completed training (e.g. IT specialist) or studies in the IT sector or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience: Several years of practical experience in the area of software testing and test management, preferably in the ERP environment or in complex IT transformation projects.
Specific expertise: Proven practical experience in test automation
- Compliance: Basic knowledge of audit-relevant requirements (e.g. GoBD, internal control system) is an advantage.
- Certification: Certification as e.g. B. Certified Tester Advanced Level / Test Manager an advantage.
- Personality: Analytical thinking skills, a goal-oriented, structured way of working and a high level of quality awareness.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and assertiveness for successful interface work between IT, specialist departments and external partners.
- Languages: Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills.
