Role Summary
This is a remote position.
TEHORA is currently looking for a civil engineering technician (office) with excellent technical skills, excellent knowledge and who wishes to use their skills within a versatile team.
Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the successful candidate must provide.
Description of work or deliverables
The candidate will be required to produce the deliverables below, without limitation.
- Survey plans produced using AutoCAD computer-aided drawing software in 2D and 3D including underground services;
- The DTM digital terrain model (DTM) compatible with Power InRoads V8i SS2 and the most recent version of OpenRoads Designer software;
- Coordinates of geodetic points, stations and survey points in ASCII format and reference system used;
- Copies of the record book in PDF format;
- The report on the survey of public utilities including electrical lines or others;
The detailed report with photos of the condition and geometry of the catch basins, sumps and manholes, including the foundations, the dimensions and the type of pipes attached to them;
The layout of the flow diagram of existing sewer services and existing surface drainage systems;
Quantities measured on site, calculation of volumes, surfaces and quantities,
The statements for the production of the plan as built TQC.
Requirements
Have the necessary training (confined space, gas, etc.) to be able to descend into sewer manholes for inspections.
with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in road infrastructure engineering surveys to carry out, as needed, the tasks:
- Assistance with the survey;
- Transfers and calculations on software, such as Autocad, Microstation, Power Inroads or the most recent version of OpenRoads Designer software, of quantities, volumes, surfaces or other.
WORKPLACE
The place of work will be determined according to the mandate, it can be teleworking or at the client's site.
