Role Summary

about us

"Push boundaries, think disruptively, shape the future - be there as we shape the talents of tomorrow."

The Franklin Institute stands for disruption and innovation in the education industry. We are redesigning the online education landscape – quickly, ambitiously and with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our claim: excellence, measurable results and real transformation for our participants.

As a scale-up, we are constantly building the technical infrastructure behind it: We automate, optimize and develop the systems and processes that support our growth and are constantly developing our own product around process automation and AI. To ensure that everything works smoothly, we are looking for someone who thinks, helps shape things and takes things into their own hands.

your role & tasks

You support us in keeping the technical infrastructure behind our further training running and further developing it. HubSpot, Zapier and our participant portal map the journey of our participants - from the first contact to the certificate. You help build, test, document and ensure that things not only work, but also remain traceable. As part of the tech team, you will work on shaping and improving internal processes - you recognize where something could be easier and get involved.

  • You build and maintain no-code/low-code workflows in HubSpot and Zapier - both adjustments to existing automations and new workflows
  • You create new properties, lists and views in our CRM (Hubspot) so that the teams can work with them cleanly
  • You are the contact person for problems that could not be solved by the power users in the specialist teams
  • You test changes before they go live and record what you've tested
  • You investigate error messages independently and decide what you solve yourself and what needs to be escalated
  • You work with our power users in the specialist teams to understand new requirements and define the technical approach
  • You maintain our technical documentation and instructions for the specialist teams
  • your profile

You like to work in a structured manner, enjoy systems and don't give up if something doesn't work right away.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student (m/f/d) with around 20 hours of time per week
  • Structured, independent and reliable way of working: You get things done without anyone asking questions
  • Attention to detail: We work on complex processes that are interrelated, so precise work is essential
  • Confident use of digital tools and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new ones (including AI tools)
  • You can document what you have done clearly and clearly

Nice to haves

  • First experience with no-code or automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable)
  • Experience with CRMs in some form (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Interested in operations, process design and educational topics
  • Enjoy questioning internal processes and making them a bit more efficient

what defines us?

We are a dynamic team with ambitious goals and honest communication. We believe in personal responsibility instead of micromanagement, in speed instead of perfection. In this role, you will take on responsibility from day one and quickly grow into your area of responsibility. You work closely with the systems and products that support our growth.

  • By the way: You can also get started through an internship or through independent project work - including the prospect of continuing with us as a working student afterwards. Just talk to us and together we will find the right model.
  • We look forward to your application! :)
