Role Summary
Gerresheimer Tettau GmbH in the northern district of Kronach, Upper Franconia, specializes in the production of cosmetic glass and supplies numerous well-known customers with bottles and jars in which fragrances, cosmetics and personal care products are filled. Every year we produce around 620 million glass items with 700 dedicated employees. We attach particular importance to internal training and further education.
Your training as a process mechanic for glass technology (m/f/d) means:
You have an overview when it comes to glass
You control and monitor the glass processing process. You regulate and maintain fully automated machines and computer-controlled systems for the production of various packaging glasses.
You are an expert
During your training you will learn everything there is to know about the special glass composition and shaping. In addition, we will show you the basic skills of metal processing, control technology and electrical engineering so that you can use glass molds correctly.
You think outside the box
You go through various departments, e.g. quality control, and get an overall overview of the technical processes - of course, you also get to know our entire glass production in all its details.
We trust you with something
You work alongside your training representative in day-to-day business. As you gain experience, you will carry out process steps or individual projects on your own responsibility.
