Role Summary

Your main tasks

  • Personnel deployment planning with the help of a service program (DPP)
  • Monitoring and implementation of radiation protection regulations according to the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV)
  • Carrying out and logging radiation measurements in systems and during work processes
  • Control and maintenance of radiation protection devices as well as calibration of measurement technology
  • Checking protective devices and structural measures to minimize radiation exposure
  • Support in the development and implementation of radiation protection concepts
  • Preparation and support of official inspections as well as collaboration with external experts
  • Documentation and reporting on radiation protection activities

*Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

Requirements

  • You must meet the following requirements to join our team:
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Resident in Germany for at least 5 years
  • No previous convictions or relevant entries in the criminal record
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least level B2)

  • You should also meet the following requirements so that the position suits you:
  • Completed training as a radiation protection technician or a comparable technical qualification in the field of radiation protection
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of radiation protection is desirable
  • Knowledge of the application and interpretation of radiation measurement technology
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant regulations (StrlSchV, AtG)
  • A sense of responsibility and a precise way of working
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Technical understanding and skilled use of computer systems
