Internship Digitalization & Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) (m/f/d)

Role Summary

Would you like to not only get to know digitalization theoretically, but also actively help shape it? During your mandatory internship at the Wackersdorf location, you will support us in introducing a modern system for product data and product life cycle management (PDM/PLM). You will work directly on the digital development of our product data and development processes.

You will gain valuable practical experience at the interface of IT, technology and project management and bring your knowledge of business informatics, industrial engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study into an exciting digitalization project.

Responsibilities

• You support the introduction and further development of our PDM/PLM system.
• You will be involved in the configuration and maintenance of user interfaces, views and master data.
• You prepare product data and support its analysis, cleansing and migration.
• You carry out data quality checks and help clean up data sets.
• You support system testing as well as analyzing and tracking errors.
• You take on administrative tasks within the system.
• You will be involved in the creation of training documents and user documentation.
• You will be involved in defining and optimizing digital processes.
• You support project management, for example with deadline tracking, task management and project documentation.

Requirements

• You are studying business informatics, industrial engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study and would like to complete your mandatory internship with us as part of your studies.
• You are interested in digitalization, data management and process optimization.
• You have a good understanding of technical contexts and IT systems.
• You work in a structured, careful and independent manner.
• You have good analytical skills and a strong awareness of quality.
• You are confident in using MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Initial experience with databases as well as PDM, PLM or ERP systems is an advantage, but not a must.
• You have good knowledge of German and English.
• Our location is in the Wackersdorf Innovation Park. With a driving license and your own driving option, you are particularly flexible when it comes to your journey.
