Responsibilities

Your tasks with us (practical phases)

• Depending on your study progress, you will take on, among other things:
• Participation in the conception, development and further development of software solutions
• Programming of applications and components (e.g.: frontend, backend or full stack)
• Support in analyzing and specifying requirements together with departments and customers
• Participation in software testing and quality assurance (unit tests, integration tests, manual tests)
• Documentation of functions, interfaces and processes
• Participation in agile development teams: planning and reviews
• Support in the operation and maintenance of existing systems (error analysis, bug fixing, minor adjustments)
• Participation in project and practical phases as well as your bachelor's thesis in one of our projects

Requirements

Ideally you bring this with you

• (Technical) Abitur or an equivalent recognized qualification with a good degree
• Strong interest in computer science and software development
• Initial programming experience is an advantage (e.g. through school, internships, private projects)
• Good knowledge of mathematics and analytical thinking skills
• Enjoy logical problems and structured work
• High willingness to learn and motivation to familiarize yourself with new technologies
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least at C1 level), good knowledge of English is an advantage

As part of the Syringes Systems business unit, Gerresheimer Bünde GmbH is one of the most modern production facilities in the world for prefillable syringe systems and cartridges. With around 800 employees, our factory in Bünde in the Herford district is considered the group's competence center for syringes that are used for the long-term storage of medicines, such as vaccines.
