Technician

Role Summary

As a Technician at BEUMER Group, you ensure the smooth running of the baggage handling process at the airport. You play a vital role in keeping our sorting systems operational so that passenger baggage is processed quickly, safely and efficiently.

Your main missions

• Maintenance & inspections: carry out inspections and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability
• Breakdowns & repairs: intervene quickly in the event of a malfunction and resolve technical problems
• Systems & quality monitoring: continuously monitor the performance of installations and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Safety & health: apply safety instructions and actively contribute to a safe working environment
• Collaboration & reporting: work closely with the team, the shift supervisor and maintenance staff, and document interventions
• Administrative tasks: ensure administrative monitoring of maintenance and respect the procedures in force

Requirements

The technician position at BEUMER Group is varied and stimulating. You are passionate about technology, rigorous and motivated to solve technical problems.

• Training & experience: technical training (A2 level in electronics, electricity, electromechanics or equivalent experience)
• Technical skills: good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electricity
• Personal qualities: team spirit, ability to learn quickly, precision and discipline
• Flexibility: availability to work during breaks (continuous system), including weekends and public holidays; you have a means of personal transportation
• Languages: fluency in French; knowledge of Dutch and/or English is an asset
• Certifications: VCA and BA5 (or desire to obtain them)
• Clear criminal record required
