As a technician at BEUMER Group, you ensure that the baggage handling process at the airport runs smoothly and reliably. You play an essential role in keeping our sorting systems running, so that passenger luggage is processed quickly, safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

Your duties in brief

• Maintenance & inspections: You carry out inspections and provide preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability of the system
• Malfunctions & repairs: You respond quickly to malfunctions and operational problems and tackle system failures
• System Monitoring & Quality Assurance: You continuously monitor equipment performance, follow maintenance procedures and maintain high quality standards
• Safety & health regulations: You work according to all safety protocols and actively contribute to a safe and healthy working environment
• Collaboration & reporting: You work closely with the team, shift supervisor and maintenance staff and carefully record maintenance activities and performance
• Administrative tasks: You take care of administrative work, including reporting maintenance, maintaining files and complying with established procedures

Requirements

• As a Technician at BEUMER Group, no day is the same. You have a passion for technology, an eye for detail and get energy from solving technical issues. You enjoy working together, think in solutions and are driven to continuously improve yourself.
• What are you bringing?
• Education & experience: You have completed a technical education (e.g. A2 electronics, electricity, electromechanics or equivalent through relevant experience
• Technical skills: You have a good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electricity
• Personal qualities: You are a team player, learn quickly, work accurately and are disciplined

Flexibility: You are willing to work in shifts (full continuous system), including weekends and holidays. You also have your own transport.

• Language skills: You speak French fluently; knowledge of English and Dutch is not a must, but is a bonus
• Certifications: You have VCA and BA5 certificates or are willing to obtain them
• A clean criminal record (declaration of good conduct and morals) is mandatory
