Role Summary

About the position

As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of our production installations. You ensure that our machines function optimally to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime. This position is entirely on-site in Turnhout and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on all production equipment according to the proposed plan.
  • Locating, analyzing and efficiently solving technical, mechanical and electrical faults in installations.
  • Making improvement proposals to increase the reliability, safety and productivity of the machine park.
  • Accurately register maintenance activities, parts used and causes of failure in the management system.
  • Compliance with all applicable safety, health and environmental regulations during work.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable technical diploma (e.g. Electromechanics, Maintenance Techniques or equivalent through experience).
  • Relevant experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Skills to be successful

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently set priorities in the event of acute disruptions.
  • Good communication skills and a constructive team spirit to work closely with the production department.
