Team leader vehicle evaluation - greater Hamburg area (m/f/d)

Role Summary

You don't want a leadership role at the desk. You want a team that you know in the field and vehicles that you have had in your own hands. As a vehicle valuation team leader for Northern Germany, you lead the evaluators in your region, check their reports on a random basis and are at the vehicle yourself on the days that count.

Location: Hamburg – You work independently in your region in the field and are responsible for Northern Germany.

Responsibilities

• Team and quality
• You lead the vehicle appraisers in your region and are their first point of contact for vehicle inspections, customer contact and process questions
• You ensure our quality standards and develop them further
• You check reports and reviews on a random basis, analyze complaints and derive concrete measures from them
• You control your team using key figures, draw conclusions from them and make them visible to management
• Developing your team
• You have regular 1: 1 discussions in which we speak openly and refine things together
• You are responsible for onboarding new team members and passing on your specialist knowledge
• On-site assessment
• You regularly take part in vehicle recordings yourself and work with our evaluation technology
• You are the face of CarOnSale at the dealer: confident demeanor, conversations at eye level, professional impression
• What you bring with you

Completed technical training in the automotive sector, for example as a car master, car mechatronics engineer, vehicle painter or body and vehicle construction mechanic

• At least one year of experience in leading a team, combined with the willingness to get involved yourself
• Experience with vehicle valuations, reports or condition checks and an eye for detail
• Confident handling of key figures: you recognize patterns, draw conclusions and present them clearly
• Confident, professional demeanor in customer contact and entrepreneurial thinking
• German at C2 level
• Class B driving license
• AI-friendly way of working: you actively use digital tools to make your work and that of your team better
