Team leader quality assurance vehicle / vehicle testing (m/f/d)

Role Summary

Do you have automotive expertise, know how quality processes work - and want to lead a team that brings both together? As a team leader for vehicle quality assurance / vehicle testing (m/f/d) at CarOnSale, you will ensure that our vehicle reports, auctions and data processes are at the level that our customers and partners expect.

Location: Berlin Schöneberg – You work on site in our office, hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Responsibilities

• You ensure team goals and KPIs are achieved - accuracy, efficiency and timelines.
• You check the team's work products (reports, data maintenance, auction adjustments) for quality and standard compliance.
• You lead your team in day-to-day business and provide technical leadership in complex or critical tasks and in work-intensive phases.
• You keep an eye on our processes and take ownership if there are problems - especially with our large customers, you ensure that problems are identified quickly, solved and the process gets back on track. Where necessary, you develop new processes.
• You will be involved in projects and drive the further development of our processes within the framework of our OKR framework.
• You create work plans, prioritize tasks and ensure a structured process.
• You will communicate regularly with the team and provide updates, best practices and feedback.

Requirements

• Completed training or professional experience in the automotive sector - e.g. B. as a car mechanic, car mechatronics engineer or in the automotive trade. Alternatively: Strong personal interest in vehicles and the willingness to work intensively on vehicle evaluation and quality testing.
• High ownership: You are the first point of contact for your team, but you also think across teams - if processes break or questions arise, you approach it proactively and find solutions.
• Experience in team leadership or a comparable leadership position, ideally in a technical or quality assurance environment.
• Experience in quality assurance, ideally in the area of vehicles or auctions.
• Ability to motivate and encourage team members and set clear goals.
• High degree of independence and reliability in controlling processes.
• Confident appearance and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Confident handling of office applications and quick familiarization with new systems.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least C1), knowledge of English (at least B2).
