Role Summary
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the operation and further development of the IBM mainframe environment (e.g. z/OS, JES2/3, SMP/E, Coupling Facility, etc.).
You are skilled at further developing the technologies and tools used (z/OSMF, Gitlab, USS, AI, etc.).
You will be involved in the installation of z/OS and system-related products and will support optimization.
In problem situations, you contribute your know-how in a targeted manner.
You advise our internal customers on the solutions used.
Together with the product owner and the team, you translate complex functional and technical requirements into viable concepts.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed an IT-related degree or comparable training or comparable relevant professional experience.
- In previous jobs you were able to acquire good knowledge of the mainframe environment on the topics of z/OS, SMP/E as well as IBM Z System Automation and LPAR configuration and structure (or similar).
- Basic mainframe infrastructure knowledge sets you apart, ideally with completed mainframe training. (e.g. EMA, GSAP)
- Ideally, you have already gained (initial) experience in agile working in the past.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least level B2) rounds off your profile.
