Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a Site Civil Manager - Fluent German (m/f/d) for the "Construction & Commissioning" area who would like to help shape the energy transition in Central Europe.
Your mission: You will work on the construction site in our complex HVDC project "BalWin4/Lanwin1" (North Sea) and coordinate and monitor the construction and civil engineering services of our subcontractors. You are part of the site management team and lead the civil team on the construction site.
Our construction sites are located in Germany.

Responsibilities
- Leading the civil team on the construction site (small team of 4-5 employees, consisting of subcontractors and GE employees)
- Plan coordination and work preparation of the respective construction phases together with the engineering and project team
- Monitoring and coordinating construction work on site so that it complies with public law regulations and the draft author's designs
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety requirements, deadlines & costs
- Quality control and ensuring compliance of execution and planning, including documentation
- Processing of defect reports
- Recognizing and pointing out deviations and potential for supplements
- Participation and recording of construction site meetings and acceptance inspections
- Maintaining the construction diary for the construction work
Requirements
- Completed civil engineering or architecture studies or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the field of construction and project management (preferably civil engineering)
- Experience in the technical management of a team on the construction site
- Substation experience an advantage
- Assertiveness & resilience in the environment of a complex infrastructure project
- Experience in electrical engineering is a plus
- Fluent German and English
