Shift Supervisor

Role Summary

As a Shift Supervisor, you are the link between the technical team and the Service Delivery Manager. You coordinate daily maintenance activities at the airport and ensure that all interventions are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervision & management: supervise and motivate the maintenance team during the shift
• Coordination of activities: efficiently organize electrical, mechanical and automation work
• Interface role: serve as a point of contact between the Site Engineers and the Service Delivery Manager
• Safety & quality: ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Reporting & communication: report technical problems, propose improvements and ensure good transfer of information
• Planning & monitoring: follow the daily schedule, communicate effectively and keep management informed
• Operational support: help the team if necessary, both organizationally and operationally

Requirements

• As a Shift Supervisor at BEUMER Group, you ensure smooth collaboration and effective communication between all stakeholders. You don't just coordinate activities: you also identify and resolve problems.
• Management experience: several years of experience in a technical role with management responsibilities
• Technical expertise: bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent through experience; very good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity as well as PLC and automation
• Leadership & stress resistance: ability to keep an overview, take initiative and quickly resolve problems, even under pressure
• Flexibility: ready to work on a rotation system (shifts), including weekends and public holidays
• Languages: good command of Dutch and/or French and English
• Practical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Availability: available for a continuous system
• Certifications: VCA VOL and BA5 or ready to obtain them
• Clean criminal record (certificate of good conduct required)
