Role Summary

As a Shift Supervisor you are the link between the technical team and the Service Delivery Manager. You coordinate the daily maintenance activities at the airport and ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities

Your duties in brief

• Leadership & management: You guide and motivate the maintenance team during the shift
• Coordinating work: You coordinate electrical, mechanical and automation work effectively
• Linking role: You act as a point of contact between the Site Engineers and Service Delivery Manager
• Safety & quality: You monitor compliance with safety and quality regulations
• Reporting & communication: You report technical problems, improvement proposals and ensure a clear transfer
• Planning & follow-up: You monitor the daily planning, communicate efficiently and keep management informed
• Hands-on support: You support the team where necessary, both coordinating and operational

Requirements

• As a Shift Supervisor at BEUMER Group, you ensure smooth collaboration and effective communication between all parties involved. You not only coordinate the work, but you are also the point of contact that identifies and resolves bottlenecks.
• What are you bringing?
• Managerial experience: You have several years of experience in a technical managerial role and are strong in setting priorities and coordinating tasks
• Technical expertise: A bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent by relevant experience. You have very good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity and you are familiar with PLC and automation
• Leadership & stress resistance: You maintain an overview, take initiative and know how to solve problems quickly, even under pressure
• Flexibility: You are willing to work in a shift system, including weekends and holidays
• Language skills: You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Practical skills: you are proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Availability: You are fully available all the time
• Certification: You have VCA VOL and BA5 or are willing to obtain them
• A clean criminal record (declaration of good conduct and morals) is mandatory
