Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, fully qualified lawyer to join our central legal department at our headquarters in Munich to strengthen our team.

As part of the legal team, you will play a central role in providing legal advice to our international group. You work closely with our specialist departments, accompany important company projects and contribute your legal expertise to strategic and operational decisions. You can expect a varied, broad field of activity with a high level of personal responsibility, direct business contact and a variety of interfaces within an innovative and international group of companies.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive legal advice for our specialist departments and group companies at home and abroad on all commercial law issues
  • Legal support for strategic and operational projects in close cooperation with areas such as product development, IT, purchasing, sales and corporate strategy
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating national and international contracts of various kinds
  • Advice on corporate law issues as well as support with group-wide projects and corporate transactions

Identification and assessment of legal risks as well as development of practice-oriented recommendations for action for management and the specialist departments

Collaboration with law firms at home and abroad

Support in the further development and communication of internal processes, standards and contract templates

Requirements

You are a committed, fully qualified lawyer who enjoys broad-based legal work in an international corporate environment. You combine legal excellence with pragmatism and entrepreneurial thinking and understand how to communicate complex issues in an understandable, solution-oriented and appropriate manner. In addition, you value collaboration with different departments and enjoy taking on responsibility.

You have the following qualifications

  • Successfully completed first and second state examinations, each with at least a grade of “satisfactory”
  • Several years of professional experience (ideally 5-8 years) in the legal department of an international company
  • Experience and routine in independent legal support of projects as well as in contract negotiations
  • Strong interest in products and their development, especially in software-based solutions and digital innovations
  • Understanding of economic contexts and the ability to assess legal risks in a practical manner
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as a high degree of initiative and sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment of working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
