Scrum Master Agile Teams (Freelance possible)

Role Summary

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

As a Scrum Master, you guide multiple Scrum teams towards smooth, mature and autonomous Agile operations. You strengthen the self-organization of the teams, stimulate cooperation and trust, and help them to achieve customer-oriented results. You provide constructive feedback and ensure that teams can continuously improve.

Organizing, facilitating and coaching Scrum events, both within individual teams and across multiple Scrum teams.

Support the Product Owner in all aspects of the role, including backlog management and prioritization based on value creation.

Forming the bridge between business, team and other stakeholders and ensuring that the business is an active part of the team.

Ensure transparent reporting on operations, progress and results.

Promote a positive team climate and actively put the Scrum values into practice: commitment, courage, focus, openness and respect.

Coaching teams, guiding group dynamics and helping to remove obstacles so that objectives can be achieved.

Increasing the productivity of the teams through continuous improvement and a systematic coaching approach, also at organizational level.

Actively guide and support Junior Scrum Masters through coaching, knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices.

Helping new Scrum teams start up, including through flip-forward events.

Facilitating online workshops with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural and MS Teams.

Within a product-oriented environment, you support several Scrum teams in their growth towards more autonomy and stronger collaboration between business and IT.

Requirements

• You have experience as a Scrum Master within an Agile/SCRUM operation at intermediate level.
• You have experience in guiding junior Scrum Masters.
• You coach mixed teams of business and IT and can easily deal with different group dynamics.
• You have experience with Large Scale SCRUM or multi-team Scrum environments.
• You master Agile project operation, Scrum principles and Agile values.
• You work smoothly with Agile tools.
• You are strong in systematically coaching teams and organizations.
• You easily facilitate online workshops, preferably with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Mural and MS Teams.
• You can support the Product Owner in a targeted manner.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch.
