Business Analyst Odoo & Stock Management (Freelance possible)

Role Summary

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

In an environment of transformation of logistics processes, cost control and optimization of stock levels, the mission aims to strengthen expertise in operational and financial inventory management. The priorities relate to the reliability of logistics data, control of inventory valuation, continuous improvement of supply processes as well as support for structuring projects linked to the evolution of information systems.

Management of logistics and accounting closings

Coordinate and plan logistics closing activities.

Carry out analyzes and consistency checks of stocks.

Identify and analyze valuation discrepancies or anomalies.

Produce the extractions and analyzes necessary for closing the accounting years.

Perform reconciliations between logistical and financial data.

Prepare the files and summaries necessary for internal controls and external audits.

Develop analyzes on inventory in transit, valuation variations and financial indicators related to inventory.

Inventories and data reliability

Analyze the results of physical inventories.

Guarantee data consistency between the different management applications.

Carry out data correction, transfer and regularization operations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of inventory management processes.

Inventory management and valuation

Carry out analyzes to identify stocks at risk, dormant, obsolete or with low turnover.

Make recommendations regarding financial write-downs of inventory.

Ensure follow-up of actions decided with the relevant stakeholders.

Support teams in implementing action plans.

Management of logistics tools and applications

Ensure the functional administration of logistics management applications, in particular Excel and Odoo.

Manage user access rights and authorizations.

Participate in functional developments and improvements to Excel and Power Query tools.

Contribute to the resolution of incidents and anomalies.

Prepare and conduct user training.

Support users during tool or process changes.

Work in an ERP environment such as SAP Logistics ECC 6 and Odoo.

Reporting, analysis and continuous improvement

Design, develop and evolve decision-making dashboards.

Develop logistics and financial performance indicators.

Produce analyzes relating to stock rotations, consumption, service levels and valuations.

Develop and maintain automation and data analysis tools.

Leverage SQL for extractions, checks and analyzes when necessary.

Contribute to information systems transformation and ERP migration projects.

Participate in the testing, validation and production phases of new solutions.

Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain or inventory management environment.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the energy sector is required.
• You have proven experience as a functional analyst.
• You have proven experience in data analysis and process improvement.
• You are familiar with an ERP such as SAP or Odoo, with a good knowledge of SAP Logistics ECC 6 and the Odoo ERP.
• You have a good command of stock management, procurement, inventory and valuation processes.
• You have advanced mastery of Excel, as well as experience with Power Query.
• You have significant experience with reporting and data visualization tools, such as Power BI or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL is an important asset.
• You have already contributed to ERP transformation or migration projects.
• You demonstrate a strong results and solutions orientation.
• You have excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• You communicate in a clear and structured manner.
• You work with autonomy, sense of initiative and proactivity.
