Role Summary
For this Sales Engineer position in the Fluid Connectors division for Spain and Portugal, a dynamic role is offered that involves the following responsibilities:
Revenue Growth: Achieve established revenue growth objectives through strategic sales of solutions.
Business Development: Expand revenue through business development activities.
Collaboration with the Team: Work together with the different departments of the team to achieve maximum efficiency.
Alignment with the Company: Adhere to the vision, values and objective behaviors of the company, ensuring that all actions are aligned with organizational objectives.
These responsibilities are essential to driving growth and success in the sales area while fostering strong relationships within the company and with customers.
Responsibilities
Search for new clients and projects
- Make visits to potential clients, whether in person or by videoconference.
- Cultivate and expand a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with the Team to Deliver Customized Solutions and Encourage Engagement:
- Prepare and present proposals, technical specifications and negotiate prices.
- Provide accurate sales reports, future opportunities and sales forecasts.
- Effective use of CRM for the proper development of the activity
- Plan activities in advance and record relevant activities.
- Assign and track tasks.
- Prepare visits and performance reports of the Division in the assigned markets.
- Closely Monitor the Activity of Competitors in the Market.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of studies in any engineering discipline or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in external technical sales/account management.
- Previous experience in direct sales, selling solutions to the end-user and OEM sectors, or distributors, ideally from a 'value added' approach identifying problems and offering standard or specifically designed solutions.
- Account management and development of new clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for building relationships.
- Comfort working independently while contributing as part of a high-performing team.
- Availability to travel through Spain and Portugal.
- European Union B1 driving license required.
- Residence and work permit in Spain.
- Languages: - Spanish and English at negotiation level - Knowledge of Portuguese is valuable.

Benefits
- Hybrid Role: The position will require up to 70% of work time outside the office, dedicated to making visits and conducting meetings with clients.
- This position may be based in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona), Leganés (Madrid) or in Derio (Bilbao)
- Travel: The area of responsibility is in Spain and Portugal, with offices available in the areas of Bilbao, Madrid, Porto and Barcelona.
