Plant driver/plant operator (m/f/d) in seed production at BayWa AG in Hainichen, SN, Germany.

Responsibilities

• System operation: You control, monitor and clean the PLC-supported systems for seed preparation, sorting and dressing.
• Process monitoring: You monitor ongoing production, ensure quality standards and independently resolve minor technical faults.
• Receipt of goods & storage: You will be responsible for the professional acceptance, quality control, storage and internal transport of raw materials.
• Filling & Packaging: You operate the automatic filling and packaging lines and prepare the finished seed sacks or big bags for shipping.
• Documentation: You keep batch records and fully comply with the strict hygiene and occupational safety regulations.

Requirements

• Qualification: Completed technical or craft training (e.g. as a miller/process technologist for milling and fodder management, agricultural service specialist, agricultural machinery mechatronics engineer) or a comparable qualification with an agricultural connection.
• Experience: Ideally, you already have professional experience in operating production systems, the food or agricultural industry. Career changers with a high level of technical affinity are also welcome.
• Willingness to drive: A valid forklift license is an advantage (or the willingness to acquire one in a timely manner).
• Way of working: You are characterized by a high level of quality awareness, reliability, craftsmanship and the willingness to work shifts (especially in the peak season).
• Language skills: Good knowledge of spoken and written German for documentation and system operation.
