Role Summary

Within Sopra Steria's Microsoft Area you will work with experienced .NET developers on complex, impactful projects for customers in defense, the public sector, financial services and industry. Here you combine craftsmanship with real social impact and make a difference every day!

What are you going to do?

As a .NET Developer you work in multidisciplinary DevOps teams on complex IT issues. You develop future-proof solutions and deliver code that you are proud of: clean, maintainable, well-tested and ready for the future.

Quality comes first. No quick fixes, but well-thought-out solutions. You actively think about architecture, design choices and technical standards and ensure that applications continue to run safely, scalable and stable.

Examples of assignments from our customers

Building new, cloud-native applications from scratch

You work on greenfield projects where you work with the team to establish the architecture and develop modern .NET solutions that are scalable and future-proof from day one.

Modernizing existing .NET applications

You make applications future-proof by migrating, refactoring and improving architecture choices for better performance and maintainability.

Improving CI/CD and engineering practices

You optimize build and release processes and ensure stable, secure and efficient deployments within modern DevOps environments.

Integrating cloud environments as Infrastructure as Code

You make infrastructure scalable, reproducible and fully part of the solution.

Requirements

What do you take with you

• At least 2 years of experience as a .NET Developer, with strong knowledge of C# and .NET (Core) and preferably experience with Azure DevOps and/or Github. Are you not working with it yet? Then you are open to quickly mastering this.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and used to working together within a DevOps team.
• A completed HBO or WO education in Computer Science (or comparable)
• You communicate well in Dutch and enjoy working together in a team where knowledge sharing is central.
• You have a positive, solution-oriented mindset and find it important to write high-quality, maintainable code.
• You continue to develop yourself, actively follow technological developments and are motivated to obtain certifications.
• You think it would be cool to become part of our Microsoft Community, in which knowledge sharing is central.
