Role Summary

As a Java Engineer you work on challenging and impactful software projects for our customers. You translate complex business questions into stable, scalable and easily maintainable solutions. You work with modern Java technologies, build new functionalities and improve existing applications.

You mainly develop in Java and use frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA. Depending on the project, you work on-premise or in the cloud (for example Azure or AWS). You think about architecture, contribute to code reviews and help teams follow best development practices. In addition, you will have plenty of room for innovation and the application of new technologies.

Requirements

You make conscious choices in your career and want to continue to grow in your profession. You communicate clearly, are a strong sparring partner for colleagues and customers and enjoy taking responsibility.

• Completed higher vocational or university education in a technical field
• Minimum B2 level of Dutch
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, Maven and Git
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue is an advantage
• Affinity with cloud technology (Azure, AWS or GCP)
