Role Summary

As a .NET Developer at Sopra Steria you work on projects that matter. You help build applications that are reliable, scalable and well thought out. Sometimes you work on a greenfield application, other times you improve existing software or help with a migration to the cloud.

You work closely with fellow developers, DevOps engineers and architects. Most projects run on Azure, so you also get the opportunity to grow further in that area.

What you usually do

• developing back-end or full-stack .NET applications
• working with technologies such as .NET Core, MVC, Web API and Azure
• writing easily readable, maintainable and secure code
• think along about architecture, scalability and performance
• working in sprints with plenty of room for knowledge sharing and collaboration

You work hybrid, usually from home or at the office, and occasionally at the customer's site. Together we will see what fits.

Requirements

You have a solid foundation as a developer, but want to continue to challenge yourself. You like code that is correct and a team that makes you better together.

• a higher vocational or university education in a technical field
• at least two years of experience with .NET (e.g. C#, .NET Core, MVC or Web API)
• knowledge of or interest in Azure and CI/CD
• you write clear, maintainable code and like to think about the bigger picture
• you speak Dutch at a minimum B2 level
• you enjoy sharing knowledge and improving together
