Role Summary

Why does this position exist? What problem does it solve? Why do we need it now?

KYC is the first door for user access and directly affects conversion rates, fraud and compliance costs. The meaning of this position is to turn "can pass the review" into a "good, fast and accurate" product experience, use the indicator system to locate link breakpoints, and use competing products and technical scans to keep the solution current. It is needed now because business growth and audit accuracy, automatic rules, and regulatory interpretation require dedicated personnel to continuously balance productization, rather than relying on operations or risk control to temporarily fill the gap.

Core responsibilities (3-5 items)

Lead the functional design and experience optimization of KYC products to improve process conversion rate and verification accuracy.

Build and maintain a KYC data indicator system, regularly collect and analyze usage data, and identify and promote solutions to key pain points in the conversion link.

Continuously track industry and competitive product trends, output competitive product capabilities, differences and market strategies in a structured manner, and feed back product routes and priorities.

Research and evaluate emerging KYC technologies (such as AI identity recognition, blockchain data sharing, etc.), determine their applicable scenarios, risk boundaries and value to existing products, and formulate implementable introduction or pilot recommendations.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

Familiar with the KYC full-link language - from user form filling, document collection, live body/OCR to automatic review and manual verification - and be able to speak with data: first define "where is the leak, where is the jam, where is the mistake", and then change the interaction and strategy. Have an engineering understanding of "second pass": know what compliance and risk boundaries are within which to pursue the ultimate experience, rather than simply pursuing the superficial pass rate. I am used to proactively scanning manufacturers’ capabilities and industry solutions. After comparing the pros and cons, I can write clearly “Why did we choose A instead of B”. Able to read regulatory requirements into product specifications instead of staying on the compliance department's PPT.
