IT Systembetreuer (m/w/d) at R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG in Gréewemaacher, Gréewemaacher, Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of our Windows server environment including lifecycle and patch management, with a focus on stability, security and continuous improvement.
• You will design the administration and operation of our server virtualization with VMware and contribute your expertise to the further development of the platform.
• Support of applications and systems for around 70 colleagues in Luxembourg as well as support in 1st and 2nd level support and change management.
• You are responsible for Active Directory, DNS and DHCP as well as authorization management with roles and rights for our VDI clients.
• Automation of processes with PowerShell or VB scripting, participation in projects and sub-projects, ensuring compliance with IT security guidelines and regulatory requirements as well as presence in Luxembourg two days a week.
• You will ensure that our IT security policies and standards are adhered to while working on regulatory issues

Requirements

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, engineering or training in the IT sector, alternatively comparable qualifications through relevant professional and project experience.
• Several years of experience in the administration of Windows server operating systems; additional knowledge of the Linux environment is desirable.
• You have in-depth know-how in desktop and storage virtualization, ideally with VMware.
• Very good knowledge of Active Directory and the administration of domain controllers as well as experienced automation with PowerShell.
• You work independently, structured and service-oriented and communicate confidently in English.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least B2-C1).
