Responsibilities

Your exciting tasks

In this role, you will actively contribute to further developing and sustainably strengthening information security within BayWa. You work closely with departments, IT teams and management and drive the implementation of our security strategy.

• Further development, coordination and control of the information security management system (ISMS) according to ISO 27001
• Planning, carrying out and supporting internal security checks and audits
• Analysis, monitoring and reporting of security measures as well as deriving optimization potential
• Advising departments, project teams and management on information security issues
• Analysis, evaluation and processing of security incidents
• Identification of weak points and development of suitable protective measures
• Carrying out risk analyzes and risk assessments together with the departments
• Conception and implementation of awareness and training measures to promote a strong safety culture
• Collaboration and technical support in IT and digitalization projects with a focus on security-by-design
• Participation in the further development of guidelines, standards and security processes

Requirements

What you bring with you

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, cyber security, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• First or several years of professional experience in the area of information security, IT security or IT governance
• Knowledge of common information security standards and frameworks, ideally ISO 27001
• Basic technical understanding in areas such as Windows and Linux systems, networks, virtualization or cloud technologies
• Experience in risk analysis, vulnerability management or security audits is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP security, SIEM solutions (e.g. Elastic Stack), cloud security or IT service continuity management is desirable
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with different departments
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
• High willingness to learn and interest in current developments in the field of cyber security
