Furniture designer and assembler

Role Summary

We are looking for a Virtual Home Furniture Design and Installation Teacher!

Are you passionate about teaching and have experience designing and installing home furniture? This opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

• Teach virtual classes (live and/or pre-recorded).
• Provide advice and support to students in their furniture design and manufacturing process.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constant feedback.
• Guide students in understanding the topics related to the syllabus, which includes: furniture design, selection of materials, carpentry tools and techniques, and the installation of furniture in different spaces of the home.
• Produce and edit educational video material (if required).

Requirements

• Technician with experience in interior design, carpentry, or areas related to furniture manufacturing.
• Proven experience in the design, manufacturing and installation of custom home furniture.
• Management of digital tools and e-learning platforms.
• Teaching experience (desirable).
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction materials, design tools and trends in interior decoration.
• Skills in production and editing of educational video material (desirable).
• Excellent communication and pedagogy skills.
