CNC Operator

Role Summary

Produce different parts for the manufacture of mechanical seals, through the machining of complex parts that meet the customer's needs according to the drawing specifications.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities (enunciative but not limiting)

• Interpretation of plans according to dimensional and shape values with respect to tolerances
• Verify that the equipment is operating correctly and that it has the necessary tools to perform the operation.
• Select, review and install the fastening elements and tools to be attached to the work table.
• Assembly of raw materials to machinery.
• Run the stipulated program according to the system.
• Polish and re-grind the lathe-machined part.
• Check that machined parts meet drawing standards and specifications.

Requirements

• Education / Courses: Technical career in machines and tools, courses in CNC machines
• Experience: 1 year operating numerical control lathes (2 and 3 axes) or machining centers (3 axes)
• Knowledge/Skills: Interpretation of Mazatrol and Iso programs (preferred)
• Operation of CNC machines, lathe and machining center
• General knowledge of industrial safety and hygiene
• General knowledge of workshop tools
• Good handling and use of measuring instruments and cutting tools
• Basic knowledge of technical drawing and reading plans
• Availability: Rotate shifts, change work days and rest days
