Work in an agile team to develop requirements for web applications, writing code and unit tests following good programming practices and design patterns;

Participate in the development of technical solutions, interacting with the product and quality areas.

• Product
• Develop, maintain and evolve features of Shift products using approved tools, observing coding standards, architecture, quality and business rules;
• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, proposing technical solutions that adhere to Shift's architectural, quality and business standards;
• Design, document, implement and evolve REST APIs following the architecture, security, versioning and documentation standards defined by Shift;
• Develop technical software engineering artifacts (DER, Class Diagrams, UML and other necessary models) that support the development of solutions;
• Estimate the technical effort of demands and support delivery planning together with the Agilista and the team;
• Keep technical documentation always up to date and compatible with the implemented solutions;
• Develop and execute unit, integration and component tests, contributing to high software quality standards;
• Propose functional and technical improvements, continuously contributing to the evolution of Shift products;
• Develop solutions following Security by Design principles, observing security, privacy and secure development requirements;

Use Generative Artificial Intelligence tools to increase productivity in development, analysis, documentation and software engineering activities, respecting the security, governance and responsible use guidelines established by Shift.

Processes

Continuously interact with the Product, Architecture, Quality, Agility and other areas teams to clarify requirements, align solutions and ensure value deliveries;

• Communicate impediments, technical risks and dependencies that may impact deliveries;
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback and ensuring adherence to standards defined by the organization;
• Identify root causes of technical problems using appropriate tools and techniques, proposing corrective and preventive actions;
• Support the Agilista in conducting deliveries, contributing to meeting deadline, quality and scope objectives;
• Contribute to the evolution of the organization's knowledge base, development standards, technical checklists, documentation and good practices;

Act collaboratively, promoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation, knowledge sharing and constant improvement of Shift's products and processes.

• Complete degree in Information Technology;
• Experience in developing and maintaining web applications;
• Experience with Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular 16+;
• Experience with Back-end development using Java, REST and SQL APIs;
• Knowledge of relational database modeling;
• Knowledge of UML modeling and reading technical diagrams;
• Experience with code versioning using Git;
• Knowledge of object-oriented principles, good development practices, Clean Code and API design;
• Experience with unit testing and continuous integration (CI/CD);

Experience in using Generative Artificial Intelligence tools (such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code) to support coding, test generation, documentation, refactoring and increasing productivity in software development, maintaining critical thinking and responsibility for deliveries.

DIFFERENTIALS: Quarkus Framework, Docker and Docker Compose.
