Role Summary
As part of the development of our activity, we are looking for an Order Picker / Storekeeper to strengthen our team.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you ensure the preparation of orders and the daily management of the flow of goods in compliance with procedures, deadlines, quality requirements and safety rules.
Responsibilities
Order preparation
- Collect production orders (FO) as they are printed.
- Scan the OFs and select the packaging suitable for the prepared products.
- Carry out the picking of the references indicated in the OFs.
- Check the conformity of the products collected.
- Weigh the packages and check the consistency between the theoretical weight and the actual weight.
- Close and package the packages according to current procedures.
- Print and attach shipping labels.
- Group the packages on dedicated pallets according to the carriers.
- Prepare oversized orders requiring specific packaging.
Stock and inventory management
- Participate in rotating inventories according to the established schedule.
- Use scanning tools to carry out stock checks.
- Identify stock discrepancies and report them to your manager.
- Contribute to the good maintenance of storage areas.
- Participate in the storage and optimization of locations.
- Maintenance and organization of the work area
- Ensure daily tidying of your workstation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Respect storage, handling and circulation procedures in the warehouse.
Communication and teamwork
- Report any anomaly or malfunction observed (stock discrepancy, missing reference, damaged product, preparation error, etc.).
- Ensure the transmission of instructions between teams.
- Actively participate in the collective success of the logistics service.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of work organization.
Requirements
Training and experience
- CAP, BEP, Professional Baccalaureate or Baccalaureate level.
- Previous experience in order preparation, shopping or logistics is appreciated.
- Motivated beginners are welcome.
