Role Summary

We are looking for a person with experience and organizational skills to oversee our warehouse operations in Juárez, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse, managing a team of people employed in the warehouse, and ensuring that operations run efficiently and safely. The ideal person will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy and workplace safety.

Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including shift planning, training, and performance management to ensure optimal productivity - Monitor inventory management activities, including receiving, putting away, order picking, packaging, and shipping operations - Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and perform periodic cycle counts

Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance procedures in accordance with company regulations and standards - Optimize warehouse operations and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet performance objectives - Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment, and inventory to promptly identify and resolve issues - Prepare and maintain detailed reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance

Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders - Train and guide warehouse staff on proper handling procedures, safety practices and company policies - Investigate and resolve operational issues, discrepancies and customer inquiries

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics - A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising or leading teams - Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software - Solid knowledge of warehouse safety regulations

Excellent organizational and time management skills - Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coach team members - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities - Proficiency in Spanish and English (will be a plus)
