Role Summary
Position Objectives
Responsible for the planning, administration and control of the Distribution Plan and inventories of the Packaging logistics network, guaranteeing inventory optimization, efficiency in distribution costs and compliance with customer service levels.
Strategically manages the warehouses and warehouses of the plants under his responsibility, ensuring the accuracy, control, safekeeping and efficient flow of Finished Product and MRO inventories, contributing to operational continuity and the optimization of working capital.
Leads the management of vehicle and people traffic in AMC's six plants, as well as compliance with applicable regulations in storage, stowage and security, guaranteeing risk mitigation and compliance with insurance requirements.
Lead and develop high-performance teams, promoting a culture of safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement and accountability. It is responsible for ensuring the certification and training of 100% of the staff, guaranteeing the necessary skills to execute their activities in accordance with the organization's standards and best practices.
Likewise, it ensures the monitoring of resources and operational capabilities to maintain adequate inventory rotation under the FIFO methodology, at the lowest possible cost and guaranteeing a minimum service level of 98% in the OTIF indicator.
Position Functions
Management of Warehouses and Warehouses in Plants
Lead and ensure the efficient operation of the warehouses and warehouses of the plants under his responsibility.
Establish operational standards for reception, storage, assortment, internal movements, control and dispatch of materials and finished products.
Ensure the accuracy of physical inventories against the system through controls, audits and best storage practices.
Optimize the use of spaces, storage capacities, material handling equipment and warehouse operational resources.
Coordinate the implementation of continuous improvement, safety, order and cleanliness methodologies in warehouses and distribution centers.
Ensure compliance with corporate safety, quality and internal control policies related to warehouses and inventories.
Evaluate and develop internal and external storage schemes that allow supporting business requirements at the lowest total cost.
Implement digital transformation initiatives for warehouse management, inventories and materials traceability.
Preparation and execution of maintenance and installation improvement, from the definition of the budget and its administration.
Monitoring and implementation of improvements derived from internal and external audit events, to maintain control of inventories in accordance with the best accounting practices of the Business.
Leadership and Operational Governance
Coordinate and support those responsible for Distribution, Inventories and Warehouses of the different plants under their responsibility.
Maintain current documentation of SCM processes related to distribution, inventories and storage.
Define policies, procedures, controls and indicators under your responsibility.
Participate and lead strategic projects focused on logistics efficiency, inventory optimization, cost reduction and service improvement.
Development of skills and training of the team, incorporating new technologies and technological tools that reduce manual activities, thereby improving the reliability of the information, its transparency and updating in real time.
Inventory Management
Define, implement and manage corporate inventory policies for Finished Goods and MRO materials in all plants under your responsibility.
Ensure optimal inventory levels that guarantee operational continuity, level of customer service and optimization of working capital.
