Cloud Platform Engineer*

Role Summary

As part of a DevOps team, you will continuously develop our data & AI platform.

You ensure that the platform is operated in a scalable, secure and compliant manner and implement automated mechanisms for quality, compliance and observability.

You will specifically design the platform into a modern, developer- and user-friendly self-service environment: with intuitive, automated workflows, reusable templates, clear guidelines and efficient build and change processes.

You evaluate new technologies and features from the Azure Cloud and Azure Databricks and evaluate them together with your team before sustainably integrating suitable solutions into our landscape.

You will work closely with platform users, actively collect feedback and incorporate this into the further development of processes, tools and standards.

Requirements

• You are curious, work independently and in a structured manner - conceptual thinking is one of your strengths.
• You have (very) good knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform) as well as experience in building and operating cloud platforms, ideally with a focus on Azure.
• You have (very) good knowledge of Python and ideally have experience with Databricks, Azure AI Foundry and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD).
• You think analytically and enjoy making complex platforms stable, performant and user-friendly.
• Very good knowledge of German, spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English round off your profile.
