Role Summary

You develop, automate and operate transaction processing for our healthcare and liquidity applications. Further development and operation of this innovative integration layer is the basis for providing these business-critical APIs. As part of the team, you will also drive our transformation to the public cloud.

Central security and compliance issues are your responsibility. You ensure that our environments comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

You will work with other cloud, security and application teams, translate business and technical requirements into viable cloud solutions, and make architectural and design decisions.

You analyze problems and implement sustainable improvements in system performance, reliability, security and costs.

Support of the principal developer in the technical conception, active support of workshops in the team, as well as collaboration on an equal level with PO and SA/E.

As part of an Agile Release Train, you will work in the DevSecOps mindset on cloud-native applications that shape the future of R+V.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in (business) informatics, engineering, alternatively comparable qualification through relevant professional and project experience.
  • Enthusiasm for modern technologies and experience in designing cloud applications and distributed, decoupled systems based on Java with Springboot.
  • Expertise in Azure, test automation, GitLab and CI/CD processes as well as optionally in requirements analysis and modeling of non-functional requirements / quality criteria.
  • Very good understanding of market standards such as container-based applications, REST APIs, Kafka messaging and experience in programming REST APIs.
  • Practical experience using monitoring/observability tools, ideally in the ELK stack.
  • You have several years of experience in the conception, implementation and operation of complex software solutions and are familiar with agile working methods.
  • Ideally, you have a strong understanding of security, compliance and governance (e.g. policies, RBAC and compliance reporting).
  • You have a high level of creative motivation and have the ability to innovate and abstract.
  • Personally, you are characterized by a high level of team orientation, strong communication skills and a structured way of working. Additionally, fluent written and spoken German skills (at least B2-C1).
