CAS | Data Engineering - Focus on Insurance

Role Summary

As part of our Insurance evolution journey, we are looking for a Data Engineer who will be instrumental in the evolution of our cloud infrastructure.

Sicredi's Insurance Data & AI team is responsible for providing scalable and secure technology solutions that support operations across the country. Design, implement and manage complex data architectures in alignment with Sicredi's strategic and business needs.

Lead automation and infrastructure initiatives, using best practices to increase efficiency and resilience.

Ensure the security, scalability and performance of cloud solutions, proposing and implementing continuous improvements.

Act as a technical mentor for more junior team members, promoting team development and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with development, security and operations teams, influencing technical decisions and supporting the implementation of complex projects.

Solid experience with SQL.

Experience with Python for data processing and manipulation.

Spark experience.

Experience with Databricks.

Knowledge of structured and semi-structured data formats, especially JSON.

Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines.

Knowledge in data modeling and architecture.

Experience with code versioning and good software engineering practices.

Knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse and modern data architecture.

Experience with observability and pipeline monitoring.

Experience with DataOps practices.
