Business Analyst (m/w/d) Data Science & AI Kompositversicherung at R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG in Wiesbaden, HE, Germany.

Role Summary

• Together with specialist departments and IT, you identify suitable data science, AI and automation potential in the composite insurance environment and develop viable solution approaches.
• Analyze existing and new AI use cases, evaluate their technical benefits, scalability, reusability and risks and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.
• You translate technical requirements into understandable AI, data and architecture concepts and ensure a common goal for business, IT and data science.
• Accompany AI and automation solutions from the idea through MVPs to productive use and pay attention to practical suitability, cost-effectiveness and integration into existing processes and systems.
• Prepare complex issues in a way that is tailored to the target group, present decision-making options to stakeholders and bring your innovative strength to agile project, architecture and expert teams.

Requirements

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, engineering or training in the IT sector, alternatively comparable qualifications through relevant professional and project experience.
• You understand technical processes as well as technological connections and can confidently mediate between business, IT and data science.
• Sound knowledge of methods, possible applications, benefits, limitations and risks of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Data Analytics and automation.
• You have experience in analyzing, structuring and evaluating AI use cases as well as working on IT implementation projects.
• Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, consulting skills and organizational skills as well as knowledge of agile forms of collaboration and classic project management methods. Knowledge of cloud, data or AI platforms, such as Azure AI Services, and a basic understanding of Python are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written German (at least B2-C1).
