To manage the construction site warehouse of a demanding, highly complex industrial project in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for an experienced and committed personality who always keeps an overview.
- Contractual home location: flexible – at a Drees & Sommer location of your choice throughout Germany
- Place of work: in an EU bordering country west of Germany (100% willingness to travel required)
- Responsibility for setting up, organizing and operating the construction site warehouse (including goods receipt, storage, picking and issuing)
- Ensuring efficient material flows between warehouse, construction site and subcontractors
- Control and monitoring of deliveries, inventories and storage capacities, taking into account deadlines and project requirements
- Coordination of logistics service providers, suppliers and internal project participants
- Implementation and compliance with processes, quality and safety standards in warehouse operations (including occupational safety)
- Support in material and inventory controlling as well as in the documentation and tracking of deliveries and consumption
Requirements
- Completed training or studies in the field of logistics, construction, industrial engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally in large projects in the high-tech industry or semiconductor production
- Experience in controlling material flows and storage processes on construction sites or in project-related logistics environments
- Structured, solution-oriented way of working and assertiveness in dealing with various project participants
- Confident handling of common IT systems (e.g. ERP, warehouse management systems)
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills, and knowledge of Flemish or French are very advantageous
- Unrestricted project-related travel within Germany and Europe
