Apprentice Electrical Technician Ls / BBL training (OVL/VRI)

Role Summary

As an Apprentice Mechanic at SWARCO Breda, you will be trained by us as a Mechanic Ls (Low Voltage Distribution). You join us and we pay your salary and training! Of course, we ensure that you receive full-time guidance from experienced colleagues and that everything is in place to enable you to do your work as best as possible. So that's why we provide your work clothes, PPE, qualifications, good tools and a company car/bus.

• Your daily work also consists of the following components:
• You are following a recognized BBL training course to become an Electrical Technician Ls;
• You assist in installing, maintaining and repairing electrical installations in low-voltage distribution;
• You learn to work with various tools and measuring equipment;
• You carry out inspections and checks to ensure the safety and efficiency of the electrical systems;

You will work closely with experienced professionals, who will guide and support you during your training.

What does SWARCO's BBL process look like?

From day 1, you are immediately employed by us as an apprentice mechanic. You work in a region near you and are also part of the close-knit regional team. All the materials you need are also ready for you. During the BBL trajectory you go to school 1 day a week. The other 4 you are busy working. You can take the lessons at a ROC near you. If you don't have lessons, you will be given the opportunity to complete assignments that day. Of course you will continue to be paid for this day.

Every day you will be guided by an experienced mentor and you will go out together. If you have any other questions, your manager or an HR employee is available to help you. To successfully complete the training, you will complete various reports and tests. In addition, you have a minimum number of experience hours that you must complete. You can get those hours in because you work with us 4 days a week. After completing the training, you will progress to the role of mechanic, including a salary increase and the opportunity to take more training courses.

Where will you work?

In this role you are part of SWARCO's South Netherlands / North Brabant regional service team, based in Breda. You will work in an enthusiastic, expert and close-knit team in which everyone contributes to the joint result in his or her role. There is a collegial and informal working atmosphere within the team. Within this role you also have a lot of variety in the work and your workplace!

Requirements

What do we expect from you?

• You are motivated, eager to learn and love working outside;
• You are interested in electrical engineering and the desire to develop yourself further in this field;
• You have a VMBO diploma or an MBO diploma level 1;
• You have no problem working outside working hours every now and then, for example in a breakdown service or in the event of emergencies, for which you will of course receive nice compensation;
• In possession of a driving license B, or willing to obtain one in the short term (we also offer you the opportunity to obtain C1, if necessary).
