Workshop and Field Service Technician Electro Hydraulic Jr - Minería Antofagasta

Role Summary

We are looking for a JR Electro Hydraulic Workshop and Field Service Technician to join a consolidated team at Rexroth Antofagasta

The role will be focused on the diagnosis, maintenance and replacement of hydraulic system components, ensuring the correct operation of the equipment and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

🔍Main responsibilities of the role

• Diagnose, maintain and replace equipment and components of hydraulic systems in accordance with work procedures and current regulations.
• Perform condition diagnosis of fluid delivery pumps, valves, valve blocks and components of hydraulic systems ⚙️
• Prepare replacement activities for pumps, valves, valve blocks and other hydraulic components.
• Carry out the replacement of hydraulic components in accordance with technical procedures and safety standards.
• Apply advanced metrology skills, using measuring instruments such as meter foot, micrometer and dial comparator 📐
• Correctly use units of measurement and perform transformations according to technical requirements.
• Diagnose, maintain and replace other equipment associated with the specific scope of the contract.
• Work safely in accordance with procedures, current regulations and protect safe working conditions during the execution of activities ⚠️🌿
• ⚠️ This is an operational technical role with a strong component of practical work in the field and direct intervention in teams.

Requirements

• Higher level technician or Engineer in Electronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance or related career 🔧
• +2 years of experience in electronic - hydraulic maintenance of stationary equipment in mining or heavy industry 🧠
• Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators and control loops 💡
• Experience interpreting electrical plans and industrial instrumentation.
• Class B driver's license +2 years exclusive 🚗
• Health compatible with work at geographical height 🏔️
• ✔ Desirable: Training or certification in hydraulic systems.
